Barring a total meltdown by Canada, they will meet Czech Republic in the Semi's.
czech republic it is

Just 1 issue it's not the same team we played before Christmas, number of there main players were not in the lineup that game.
I suspect it will be Canada's hardest game next to US.

Re: World Junior Hockey Championship
It would appear IIHF does not have a concussion protocol, one would think a hit to the head by the Russian player. The player being hit would have go off to be check out.

I suspect vast majority of the fans at the outdoor game was from Canada.

Re: World Junior Hockey Championship
Anything can happen but I'll go out on a limb here and predict a Canada / Sweden final.

Re: World Junior Hockey Championship
Based on the play of the 4 teams in Semifinals today both games should be very close.
Early game at 1pm has USA vs Sweden
Later game at 5pm has Canada vs Czech Republic
I'm of course bias in one of the games, the other is going to be very close. I'm going to give Sweden ever slight edge over the US.
As for predictions that's it.
Added side note: Hockey Canada Olympic GM & coaching staff is watching Canada's juniors, for players that could/may fit into the team going to South Korea next month.

That nasty winter storm may have something to do with turnout
