Don't think any teams in the tournament will fair that well against the swedes. Canada's performance last game was decent but they'll need to make some huge improvements to defeat them this year. Russians? - meh.

Unfortunately this may be the Swede's year both in the world juniors and the Olympics. Actually looking forward to seeing the Sedins and possibly a healthy Erricson perform thier magic again.

Hope both Canadian teams prove me wrong .

Until the winning buzzer goes, I don't turn my back on Russians they have and will pull a rabbit out of the hat when you lest expect them to.

I expect based on the play so far Sweden to be at the Gold medal game, as I said above anything can happen.

Canada had better not take Fin's lightly, their goaltender can and has stood on his head.

Unfortunately. Fucali did his best to hold them in but they out skated the canucks.

Speaking of canucks. Hate to kick a guy when he's down but does Horvat seem clunky out there to anyone else. Smart and positionaly great but slow. When you think we could have Lazar or val natishkin who plays on Dallas' current nhl line up its a bit of a shame.

Russian game should be great. Still lots of hockey left.

Hey even when Canucks have players worth keeping they ship them off.

So longest gold medal drought for Canada was 7 years 1998 to 2004, currently 5 years.
