2013 season so far for WhiteCaps has been disappointing, currently 5 games away from halfway mark of the season.
Need 10 wins out remaining 23 games to get same points as last year.

Disappointment that Vancouver fell short on winning the Canada Cup with a tie against Montreal Impact.

So maybe this will be start to more wins on the road & at home, Vancouver over NY Red Bulls 2 to 1.

Cap's won last 2 games and moved up to 4th place in west:

Since my last post on June 22 Vancouver has moved up to #2 in the west, 3 points behind Real Salt Lake.

Way to go Caps with a win over San Jose today.

Last game of the season for the WhiteCaps, disappointing not to be in the play-off's.

Only Canadian team in the play-off's is Montreal Impact.

Montreal plays 1 game wildcard game against Houston to see who moves on to Eastern Conference Semifinals.
If Montreal wins, they face New York Red Bulls

2014 season for Vancouver WhiteCaps starts today.

Looks like Toronto FC wants to make the post-season for first time by picking up players biggest name being Jermain Defoe from Tottenham.

7 years in the MLS have not made the post-season, well good luck. It would be nice to have all 3 Canadian clubs in play-off's, of course the season has barely started.

Vancouver WhiteCaps started in 1974 so in 2014 it is 40 years of WhiteCap soccer, very first game was against a team from San Jose called the Earthquakes of the NASL (North American Soccer League).

Last night game between Toronto FC vs Vancouver WhiteCaps was good game, the Caps have a talented young goalkeeper.
Yes he was beating in penalty kicks, time & experience he will get even better.
