It seemed to me that the Canadian version, for the most part (not 100%) was more "how can we win, how can we do better", verses the USA version, "how can I prevent (the other team) from winning", "how can I screw them". The two worst teams in this last Canadian Amazing Race for playing a US style, were the French Canadian males and the Indo Canadian brother and sister.
I've watched several years of the USA version and both years of the Canadian, and I have to say I enjoy the Canadian version more. Yes, likely because it mostly highlights Canada, but also the attitude of the Canadians is better. Loved the two young ladies from the Canadian National Hockey team, too bad they did so poorly on the hockey challenge <too funny/ironic>
