Ya he got bushwhacked by a jealous author. Sad .
Im sure some of his reputation was likely earned however.
Still probably the greatest to ever play the game

That "author" should not have been rewarded by having a best selling novel that was made into the movie Cobb. Everything that was said about him was a flat out lie. He was actually a nice guy. He did have a thin skin and got into a few fist fights, but hey...lol

Cobb is a top ten guy for sure, maybe top 5 but Babe Ruth was the greatest baseball player ever. I would also put Willie Mays and Ted Williams ahead of Cobb. Okay, top 4 for Cobb but Hank Aaron is right there too. Even though Hammerin' Hank was mainly know as a hitter he was an All Star for 25 years in a row, no small feat. Just my opinion and I will admit that I am in fact a life long Yankee fan. Still, sad to see Cobb get shafted like that.

Gonna have to order an Indians jersey. Last year for the iconic logo. Culturally insensitive or not . Probably nicest jerseys in the AL

Bumped
So is the MLB playoffs going the way you hoped, or not. Meaning is your team winning or not.
Since they have never won the top prize in mlb, I'm going with Milwaukee Brewers.

Re: Major League Baseball
3 out of 4 teams have moved on to Conference finals
NLCS has Los Angeles at Milwaukee (going with the Brewers)
ALCS has Houston vs either Boston or New York (either way to close to call)
Battle for The Commissioner's Trophy:
Milwaukee vs anyone of 3 teams still in.
