I pick the Los Angeles Kings, I expect it to be hard hitting from both sides.

My opinion is that the Kings have already beat 3 teams that are significantly better than the Rangers so they should have little problem with the Rangers and win in 5.

New York Rangers route to Finals was Philadelphia, Pittsburgh & Montreal (Montreal beat the favourite to meet Anaheim in Boston)

Los Angeles Kings route to the Finals was San Jose, Anaheim (favourite to win the Cup this year) & Chicago (last years Champions)

This is why I picked LAK to win.

Would be interesting to see kings win in 7. Then they would have went to game 7 every series to win the Stanley Cup. Record for most games to win Stanley Cup currently is 25. LA is at 21 right now.

Longtime NYR fan, cheering for them, but I believe they are the underdog in this series.

It's taking NYR 20 years and 9 coaches (1 twice, first time only 4 games) and countless players to get back to the Stanley Cup.
Do they have what it takes to beat Los Angeles Kings, BB of the West coast.

We will see starting tonight.


Added: I wonder what odds in Vegas was at beginning of the season to see NYR vs LAK in the finals, a person could possibly have made a killing. lol

The odds makers were picking a Chicago - Boston Stanley Cup at the the beginning of the season, 6/1 and 10/1 respectively.
Kings were 12/1 and NYR 20/1 to make it to the finals.

We will see what happens in NY now. LA may be up 2-0, but NY is not out yet. This could be one of those series where home team wins. Would really love to see this series go the full 7.

Now it just depends if LAK want finish it 4 or win on home ice.
