Wanted: Outdoorsy explorers for ultimate Cdn. dream job

Want to get paid to explore Canada’s great outdoors this summer? Woods Canada ( https://www.woodsdreamjob.com/JobDetails/ ) is looking for two adventurous travellers to “hike, paddle, climb and camp” the Trans Canada Trail.

“The reason it’s referred to as the ‘dream job’ is…people who are already really passionate about the outdoors have an opportunity to get paid to do something they love,” said James Prescott, the associate vice president of Woods Canada, an outdoor and sporting equipment company.

“It’s a really unique opportunity to do that and to see the entire country over a five-month span.”

The ‘dream job’ winners will receive $20,000 each for the five-month gig, plus just over $5,000 in spending money. There’s also a potential $2,000 bonus. In exchange, they’ll have to share their adventures as they trek across the Trans Canada Trail, which currently spans 17,000 kilometres.
