So if they aren't testing the humans why care if the horses are or aren't? All sanctioned equestrian events and racetracks all test. The order of who and how might be different, racing - horses in the money, show jumping, endurance rodeos etc are I think at random so you never know if your name is going to be called out.

Drama at the 50K walk; Canadian appeals and wins bronze after being bumped by Japanese.

Evan Dunfee awarded bronze after officials rule he was illegally bumped.

RIO DE JANEIRO—Canadian race walker Evan Dunfee was awarded bronze after he was bumped by another racer in the 50-kilometre race walk at the Rio Olympics.

It was a gritty performance that saw Dunfee in the mix for a medal for most of the race.

Dunfee placed fourth, but officials ruled he was unfairly touched by his competitor.

Dunfee was leading at the 45-kilometre mark and appeared headed for bronze after passing Hirooki Arai of Japan on the final lap. But he broke stride when Arai bumped him in an effort to pass and wasn’t able to recover.

The Richmond, B.C., athlete finished in three hours 41 minutes 38 seconds, breaking his own Canadian record of 3:43:45.

After crossing the finish line, Dunfee was one of several walkers, who braved challenging conditions, to fall to the ground and receive treatment from medical personnel.

Slovakia’s Matej Toth won gold in 3:40:58 while Australia’s Jared Tallent was second in 3:41:16.

Dunfee won gold in the 20 kilometres at last summer’s Pan American Games.

I suggest you don't bother watching the sports that does not interest yourself. Works for myself, currently watching football/soccer as well keeping an eye on golf.

Good to see the Canadian speed walker get bronze after being set off stride with a bump from the Japanese walker. Such a painful looking sport, hard to believe anyone could make walking seem unnatural. Have to agree that it is a weird sport that I'd never watch other than at the Olympics but chaulk another medal up for the team.

I can never understand why events that pit one human against another is almost always referred to as Country against Country. In Roman days in the Coliseum I wonder if the Lions, Christians and Gladiators were referred to only by Countries ??

Would have preferred playing for Gold, Bronze in football over Brazil works.

Good game, more then likely last Olympics for Christina Sinclair
