WOLVES in region 8-08

Post by playhard2010 »

Just a heads up to hunters/outdoorsmen/women if you are in region 8-08 there is atleast one pack of wolves that has moved in, I have seen them in the Jackpine lake area and lower over the last 3 weeks, if anyone is into predator hunting grab a game call and get out there. I was tracking last week and they are chasing the big game all over (no they are not coyotes, I am an experienced hunter and very knowledgeable in animals) one ran in front of 2 of us on a fsr spur 3 weeks ago

They have been in 8-02, 03, and 04 for a few years now.

There was a documentary on tv a while back showing where their territory is.

Sorry I don't, can't remember what channel it was on either, LOL.

I do remember that they planted the wolves and that they out grew in numbers than anticipated, all the way down to Oregon. We see the odd one here.

we have seen many wolves this year as well. From October to January we have seen wolves by James lake, a large pack at Moore lake, and even way up Gillard forest service road. As a hunter we always try to use caution as you never know what might be watching you.
