Ever since SuperSonics (NBA) went & became Oklahoma City Thunder, fans have been wanting a team. As for NHL before Vegas was announced rumors had it Seattle was in the running.
Of course Quebec City better get a NHL team long before Seattle does imo

QC isn't getting a new team, their only hope is an existing team relocates there.

impo once the novelty wears off in Vegas, they will be no different then Arizona like most of US teams low attendance. Seattle may fair little better.
I've never been fan of Bettman, he's only a puppet of US team owners even though it's Canadian based teams keeping overall attendance up.
