Flow Rider at the H20

Post by TyMan »

This message has been on the H20 website for months:
The FlowRider® at H2O is currently out of service. We are waiting for a replacement part and will have it operating again as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

It's been down since September, which seems very excessive. (According to: http://www.flowrider.com/faqs/ it takes 6 months to build one from start to finish)

It's a great community resource, and it's what they feature almost exclusively in their marketing materials.

Is anyone aware of what is going on over there?

That is some horrible product support.

Considering "it costs more than a Ferrari and less than a private jet" the company should have replacement parts that dont take 6 months to obtain. Interesting that WhiteWater out of Richmond BC owns them but the Flowrider company is based out of San Diego.
The true business of people should be to go back to

thinking about before somebody came along and told
them they had to earn a living.

The company that sells the Flow Rider likely outsources production of the part in question. Perhaps that supplier is in trouble or has ceased operations.
When someone says they pay taxes, you know they're about to be an ******e.
