No Flotation Devices

These people are very lucky but also very stupid.
This could have had a much worse outcome.

Not directly on topic, but I'm flabbergasted at the number of people I see using pleasure craft on Okanagan Lake, who don't have life jackets on. Whether it's groups of young adults, or families with young children, the "don't haves" far outweigh the number of people I see wearing them. To me it's like driving a car and not wearing a seat belt.

The thing that gets me, is when you hear of people drowning in boating accidents...it's often not due to a violent collision, or a "knocked unconscious so they couldn't swim" scenario. It's just someone who falls in, slips under the surface and never comes back.
When someone says they pay taxes, you know they're about to be an ******e.

That's very much on topic. It can easily happen to anyone.
