Thanks

Hardcore Archery in Kelowna is by far the best around with expertly trained staff and ownership.

Do not buy your bow from a gunshop or sporting goods store- buy from a place that specializes in archery equipment with people that understand archery.

They also offer instruction and have an indoor range to practice as often as you want.

That's where I bought mine. When you buy a package they customize it to your draw length and show you how to properly shoot it. They'll tune it to proper draw weight too for you and you can go in anytime for advice and tuneups. I highly recommend them.

Ya they are great!

I got my girlfriend into it as she was always interested and she loved it so much and couldn't stop talking about it that I decided to join her. She is a much better shooter than I am (has more patience and better form) but it's something fun that we can do together in the outdoors while camping and fishing.

We're not hunters, but did our first 3-D shoot earlier in the year and had a blast!

Hardcore is really nice. I bought a great selfbow there for a cousin, and they have good arrows.

They are lacking a bit on the more obscure forms of archery, though. That's something to consider, if you're looking into any hyper-traditional bows from Asia, mainland Europe, or elsewhere.

You're on one. Castanet classifieds. There's also kijiji and groups on Facebook.

Hunting 2017?

Post by Kelowner »

I'm sure there are some hunters on here. How has your season been so far?

I've spotted lots and missed a couple chances on big game, but the back country is eerily quiet this season for myself.

Anyone out there get lucky?
