Snow season started
Just got back from the first X-country ski of the season. Went to Apex and the forestry trails as I had a couple of dogs with me. Plenty of snow(for cross country), -5, no wind and blue sky. Blue wax on the skies and all was good.
Still grinning.....
Ski hill still needs more snow on the runs though. Chute, K, window, plenty of shrubbery and granite showing through.

Re: Snow season started
Second time up x-country today. Not much snow. Warm +5 at the forestry trails made for not great conditions. Ice where sun has come through the trees and soft in the shade. Waxing issues...
Beer was cold at the Gunbarrel though. Lots of shrubbery and rock showing on the T-bar.(still closed) Perhaps 40 cms of snow on the roofs of buildings. Could be a lean Christmas if snow does not show up soon.
Doggies had a blast of course.
