VICTORY PIPES; Any advice out there on if you need to do the re-flash of bike when adding the stage 1 pipes? Did not change air or anything else, just pipes. Runs and sounds great, but is it getting to much air now that pipes flow more freely?

Re: Motorcycles
Which pipes did you put on? You may have lost power, as the freedom engine needs back pressure to make power. I'd take it in and get it flashed. The other thing you could do is unplug your O2 sensors.

Did not know that about the back pressure. They are the victory stage one pipes, got em off a buddy that needed more noise.
Will snoop around on those forums, thanks. Not sure that I want to unplug the 02 sensors, still 2 year warranty.
Is 200.00 for a flash reasonable? Sounds high for a down load.

Re: Motorcycles
Emc, how bout some pics? Vic makes a few differant pipes. I had the swept pipes on my first bike, too loud for me. My mulligan has the triracer on it. A lot quieter and it's a two into one which makes more power on the low end than the duals which will give you a bit more top end.

O'Keefe Ranch Vintage Ralley just ain't what it used to be. I don't know why. It hasn't been the same since they "brought it back" a few years ago. Did they fire the numbskull who originally cancelled that and the Mopar weekend which were the two biggest draws to the ranch every year?

I was in shock when they cancelled those two events. They biggest draws they have there and they were cancelled! Then O'Keefe ranch came to Vernon City Council with cap in hand asking for a hand out. Financial difficlute4s due to low attendance and low revenues. Duh.
Theyw ere intially cancelled as they didn't fit intot he ranch theme of O'Keefe Ranch (that was what the ranch said in the news papers.)

Re: Motorcycles
I had a meeting with last years manager and she said it was on par with
what they thought was their biggest draw, Cowboy Days,
New Manager this year and he has a motorcycle of sorts himself (Harley or is
that Hardly???) :127:
Hope he's not one of those gung-ho Harleys are the best types.
Hoping we don't have to edumacate him that it's past successes were built
on the foundation of inclussion and open for All bikes of vintage status.
It's my favorite event of the season, I'll do my part to make sure everyone
leaves with a mark on the calender for the next year...happy!

Could explain why Harley Davidson is this years featured marque. :127:
The HD crowd is obnoxious ignorant and quite frankly, embarassing to watch.
"Norton? Who makes that?"
"Get that Jap piece of junk out of here!" (Pointing at a Laverda triple)
"Is that a Knucklehead?" (Pointing at a HD Evo Softail)
"Indian? Yeah same thing as a harley. Made by Harley too."
I am in no big rush to get there I am afraid.
