I think the only reason they have yet to change the laws is due to the fact that ,
When your sober you know drinking and driving is bad , and you won't let it happen.

Now after you have had a lot to drink, your judgement is impaired for driving and for making the decision while being drunk.
Lawyers thrive on that fact.



Also i disagree with giving someone miss due care and attension , since that is one of the 3 biggest violation tickets., Id say they make a new ticket the same amount as a seat belt and if you get 2 in one year, the 3rd one is a month loss of license.



Also with new car companies building in hands free celluar phone answering systems ( blue tooth, SYCN etc ), People still will be taking calls while driving,


Plus all the truck drivers chattin on CB.
