How's your summer riding been?
Any good trips? What's been your favorite ride?

A four hour tour!?!? You must've been exhausted!

No riding this summer F.
I guess copy and pasting pics of bikes you wish you had takes up lots of time.
Maybe next summer eh.?

planning on camping for the most part - weather permitting, few friends and family along the way too. rain and heated gear for sure! yea not expecting much thru sask and manitoba. any unusual sights to look for along the way? 1000k/day is nothing new to us, but this will be our biggest trip to date. I have never been further east than Brandon. think it should be a good time of year, not too hot or cold. leaving ktown on the 15 of september... Any MUST see sights along the way???

Cause ya didn't.
A pic of an odometer? I could buy an old bike to, and take a pic of the odometer.
How many K you got this summer? You, not the bike.

Jealousy is a strong emotion. I've owned that bike from new. I average 11,000km per annum. The last few years I have had my Norton on the road so the Triumph has had a slight break from duty.

But oh I've never done a 4 hour tour. That is crazy, insane hard core biker-ing. Didi you wear you approved hard core biker doo-rag too? I don't even have one of those. Ohhhh could neverer manage that. The most I've ever done with this "used" Triumph was 1000km/12 hours.

Hey come back to Triumphrat.net, we miss your inane drivel over there!

You've got me all figured out Bud.
11,000k / yr is pretty impressive.

Did you know that 94% of Hardleys are still on the road? The other 6% made it home.

I've ridden with fritzy, you wouldn't have a hope in Hell in keeping up with him.
I've seen him pass modern bikes, on the right, on his vintage bike, weaving and grinning like a madman.

BTW that's his white Triumph hes had for a good decade.

Probably because he actually *knows* how to ride. I'd love to riding with him one day...

I'm sure your bike still loves you - whenever you find the time to hop on for a four hour tour ;)

So For the record I said I had wifey on the bike for a four hr tour. She is pretty freaked of bikes, she brings up mechanism of injury a lot. Having her on the bike for four hrs was pretty cool and by the end she was pretty comfortable.

Whats the differance between a hardley and a hoover?
One makes a lot of noise and sucks and the other is a vacume.

All in fun of course.
Get out and ride.

You know we're ribbing you, right? I think it's pretty cool that you've helped her overcome her fear of bikes.

:coffeecanuck: It would be even better if I hadn't heard that same joke on Saturday ;) (nb., I don't ride a Harley)

I started to remove the posts containing personal attacks, but it seems the problem goes back a lot further than I first thought.

Talk about motorcycles, but drop the macho 'mine's bigger than yours' taunts.
