gettin so no one can practice and hone their skills, or lack thereof anymore.

I guess they don't call them the good ol days for nothin'

Growing up in the 70's and early 80's we were encouraged to do such things by parents AND the law.

Only by knowing what a vehicle will do can you maintain control in adverse conditions and
properly react to someone elses mistakes, or get through an extreme condition that
one may end up in.

People are free to do that, but not to use other people's cars as obstacles and almost hitting them.

You got it, dirtybiker. As a teen, we'd do the same thing in a huge parking lot next to a Tim Horton's, and when we'd pop in for a coffee after, we'd sometimes get pointers & encouragement from cops there for their breaks. They thought it was a good idea & safe enough & got a bit of a kick out of it. Things sure have changed.

We did the same,,, I have avoided a few close calls cos I know that feeling of lost control. Never had an accident yet. I wonder how many people dont know the feeling till its real and cant react on it right. Practice is a good thing.

Backward doughnuts in a front wheel drive car was always a great time. Yanking the E-brake was also very popular.

I use to do that in the empty zellers parking lot in my mom's explorer.

I pulled the E-brake today. Just for old times. We laughed out loud.

@ OP - I see no other vehicles in that parking lot so i don't see the problem...
All i see from reading your post is a person whom is bitter for some reason and doesn't like seeing people
A: have some harmless fun in the snow
B: practice some snow driving skills in one of the few snowfalls we have had this season.

Did a few low speed throttle controlled fish-tails yesterday on a nice desolate stretch of public roadway .

Daughter asked "What was up?"

I told her "Staying sharp."

Three cars were directly in front of our building. Tire tracks in the snow were as close as a couple feet away, as the vehicles were using our cars as obstacles. I also witnessed one vehicle try to drift between two of the vehicles (about two parking spaces worth) and almost hit both. Thanks for coming out though!

Sure did. That parking lot is on camera 24/7 and I look forward to getting more reckless drivers in trouble.

Thanks for providing adequate information in your original post! I see no other vehicles in the pictures you provided.
Thanks for the few minutes of entertainment though!
