Drive Over The Coquihalla

Post by Hmmm »

I think we should have a thread for this based on those who have driven over it in the past 24hrs. I`m thinking of going to Vancouver tomorrow and I`m wondering about the conditions. Webcams look fine. Anybody travel over it today?

I have not driven over last few weeks, my rule about Coquihalla & connector at this time of the year is expect just about anything. Snow from light to very heavy... fog, freezing rain.
So be prepared for any condition.

It really doesn't matter what the conditions may have been the day before as they can and will most likely change. It is a mountain highway that is known to get crazy winter conditions. People need to be prepared for every kind of winter conditions and should stay off it if they aren't. It would be great if the people that are scared of driving on it would stay off it too.

True, however the next few days should be pretty much the same weather wise, according to the forecast. Its just one more factor to consider when thinking of going over it. I checked the weather, the cams and now I'm asking who has been over it today. I have four new snows on too.(true) And a big truck with four wheel drive and I'm from alberta (lol not true)jk.
