Bike to Work Week
Is anyone going to bike to work on May 25?
I like the idea of free food and a free bike tune-up at their stations, but not sure if it's worth risking my life.

Re: Bike to Work Week
I broke down and got a road bike this year and have done the ride in from the westside once or twice a week since beginning of April. 40k round trip. Have been pleasantly surprised with how easy it has been sharing the road. Have yet to feel threatened at all. Can see drivers looking out for me while I look out for myself as well and follow the rules of the road.

I'm in.
My cheap side won out.
There are apparently 20 "celebration stations" around the Central Okanagan during the week.
Free food and free bike tuneups

I'm all set to go. I start holidays next week so will only be logging two commutes.

I don't have time to stop for the festivities, but I'll be riding.

Be careful: according to other subject "Frustrated with senior drivers".
