Signaling pickups

Post by studdly »

why is it so hard for the idoits in the pickup trucks to signal? today I just about collided with an idiot in a pickup cause he was to cool to use his turn signal. I didnt know which wsy he was turning and so I made my turn and so did he. good thing my dash cam recorded his license plate number. There is a little switch on the left side of the steering wheel column that tells other drivers your direction do USE it.

^^^ I've learned that very few drivers know what that lever sticking out of left side of steering column is actual used for.

Also it is for signalling intentions, not confirming actions!

LOL

Gotta love the mid-turn signal afterthought.

Have to say this stupidity is not exclusive to pickups. Have seen people in all kinds of cars that don't signal...

pbear is bang on. You should be signalling well in advance
I have learned that to be with those I like is enough.

Not to be confused with the clueless drivers who have their signal light on for five miles without noticing.

Those bright yellow cars you see all over town don't have signals installed either!
They also race through school zones.

It amazes me how many brand new vehicles have broken turn signal lights. Hopefully the owners take them in to have them repaired under warranty.

Not too well in advance - that can be a problem as well if you signal to the right and go by entrance after entrance with out turning.

See that as well, since it's their job you would think they would know better.

I just assume everybody is doing exact opposite of what they seem to be doing. And also, they're all out to kill me.
