That fatal accident in Penticton last September
The one that sadly took the life of a 5-year-old boy and was handed over to the IIO.
Has anyone heard anything about this? It's been nearly 6 months.

The IIO reports that 30% of the tasks on that file are completed.
They are likely awaiting the Reconsructionist's report. Six to 8 months is not an uncommon period of time to wait for that. Once that is received they can probably continue with their investigation.
All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.
