Hello, new here. We were just wondering if anyone else here knows more about why the Coquihalla between Merritt and Kelowna was closed to southbound traffic on Sunday afternoon. We left Merritt at 4 pm and were stopped at the main intersection, where we were told along with other traffic to take a detour through Kamloops due to some kind of accident. Haven't seen anything about this incident anywhere in the media or on BC Highways Report, etc.

The coquihalla doesn't run Kelowna to Merritt
Your options are Coquihalla Hope-Merritt or Coquihalla Merritt to Kamloops
