It's against your charter rights to be required to have a front plate ??

There's an easy solutions, Stop driving, ride a motorcycle or move to Alberta.

It's not like the government "dropped" this legislation on you in the last short while.

What's the legal challenge ? "Well motorists in Alberta doesn't have to have a front plate."

That's similar to the speeding defense of : "Well yes I was going 15 kph over the limit but there was another car that passed me."

People who get tickets are "Violators", not criminals. A criminal is someone who has been convicted of a "Criminal" offense.

You can say front plates are pointless until you are blue in the face but they do permit identification of vehicles from the front for many many reasons.

Im not a legal beagle like you. I dont know about charter rights. Sounds expensive

I think its a simple case of. Not really needed. Can live without. Just a waste of tin. Oh it contributes to global warming lol. Cars are not really made for em now days. They are ugly. The list goes on.

If you fought any law to the extent that, if you won it would shoot down the law it would have to be in a high court, thus expensive.

There is nothing in the front plate law that could possibly aid in having law over turned. It would have to come from law makers.

From my perspective, hopefully they would see the benefits of keeping the law.

Its more just wishful thinking on my part. It really makes no difference. Ive onoy had a front plate one year out of about 15 driving in this city. Never had a problem.
