Now I'm ugly? Lets stoop to more immaturity. Get off your ignorant butts and do your own research and came back with some mature comments. Thats not the way to have a mature debate on anything. Look what I am dealing with, and I wonder why I'm up against what I am. Good grief.
Even a high majority of the blacks that voted him in are sorry they did. And a lot of white people voted him in too. They have enough info now to know and admit they did the wrong thing.
You can't debate with the likes of you guys, your in every forum topic causing the same trouble on every topic in the world. Some people just like to argue and don't know the difference between a debate and an argument. "Your ugly" Gee, so mature. Well I am mature & wise enough to know better than to argue with the majority of you. Some admitted in here that he is an obvious liar, and that is a fact I do not have to prove. Get your head out of The Simpsons" and "The Family Guy" and educate yourselves.
I did not post that link to PROVE anything. Just to show that other people are also doing their homework and ARE coming up with the facts. Those that don't know anymore about Obama other than what the media allows you to hear, than you have not much right to even comment. Because you don't know. You don't want to know. And even if you did , you would never in 100 years admit it. Again I think it is a shame that we can't have a decent debate on this, and God forbid a Christian going into the religious forum and posting anything Christian, now I know why people have stopped doing it. I wish Jo would ban a certain few on here so that we can have nice orderly debates and get rid of the ones that 90% of their posts are arguments and name calling.
Yes, I will probably leave this post again now, as I did 2 1/2 years ago. I know many, many people agree with me but know better than to come into the forum with such controverial topics. Maybe I better become one of those people. You cannot have an intelligent conversation in here. I have gone to other forums with such topics and theres always the odd difficult one in every crowd, but this forum there is the odd educated one. And they are too smart to get involved with the uneducated who will speak on any topic with no knowledge on it what so ever. If you are needing proof at this stage of the game, you are un-educated on this particular topic. As Ann from "The Weakest Link" would say .......................Goodbye, you are the weakest link. Good bye. Please try to educate yourself during what I hope will be a rather lengthy absence. You may just come to learn that you really are ignorant and a bigot.

The immaturity & ignorance just keeps on going. I am the one that is not ignorant on the subject because I am the only one in here that has spent many hours doing my homework, I may be ignorant on other topics but to call ME ignorant on this topic while you seem to have NO knowledge on it, well....what can I say. You seem bitter to me. Bigot? I just donated money to pakistan to help them out in this terrible flood, did you? Of course you will say yes. One thing I am though, is a fool, to keep posting in here with people that can only come back with "your ugly" "your a bigot" "your ignorant" I have the knowledge on this subject, you THINK you do, so you come back with "your ugly, go crawl in a hole" Real intelligent people I am dealing with here. :runforlife:

OK, you didn't mean to say goodbye..

We will 'say' that Obama lied.....

We will 'say' that Gordon Campbell lied....

What makes Obama's 'lie' more heinous than Campbell's lie?

Please explain....

Oh for sure they are all crooked, I'll give you that. They are all liars. I don't believe that one could be a true Christian president.
It's just how Obama went about it all. It's not just one or 2 little white lies. He has been caught in so many now that he's lost a lot of credibility. He's embaressed himself time after time as he keeps getting caught in these lies.

Pray tell, what/who could be a 'true Christian president'?

Bush?
McCain?
Palin?

What is the difference between how Campbell 'went about it' and Obama 'went about it'?
And what do you mean by 'true Christian'?

And what do you mean by 'true Christian'?

I think you have to be crooked to be a president, even though most of them called themselves Christians, including Obama, most were far from it. Same scenerio, I knew a very devote Christian social worker a few years back that felt she had to quit her job because she was forced to do things that were against her Christian beliefs. Others just did it to keep their job but hated that they had to. There is so much lying and deceitfulness in politics, I would think it very hard to hold your faith in tact while your screwing your country lol

Just for everyone's info: Here is another one of binky's quotes.

by binky11 » Nov 15th, 2007, 8:00 pm

If you look deeper into the issue, you'll find that not only is religious material being passed out WITH the boxes to the children receiving them, but the recipients are forced to sit through a talk about the importance of christianity before they can receive their presents. If it were the "story of Christmas" that was being told that would be one thing, but that's not the case.

I don't think this is true at all.

Fact is as someone else stated:
Do you put Christian literature into the shoe boxes?

Show Answer

No. Separately from the shoe box, “The Greatest Gift of All” storybook is offered to the children when possible and when culturally appropriate. This booklet tells the story of God’s greatest gift to the world – His son Jesus Christ. Each shoe box gift is given unconditionally, regardless of whether the child or parent chooses to receive the booklet.

I am so furious about this whole thing I could SPIT! All my research proved this above statement to be false. Nobody has to sit through and listen to anything! When poor poversished kids have to do without because of a few athiests it is an outrage. So what if they throw in a few religious sheets of paper. They can throw them out if they want. What are they afraid of? Heaven forbid they hear the good word & go to heaven. Wouldn't that be a shame! A real crime. Lets have the poor do without at Christmas & the opportunity to hear about salvation. You get mormom & JW papers shoved at you & you no doubt choose to throw them away. So can they if they want. But to deny them both salvation & gifts at Christmas because of a few athiests fearing they will convert to Christianity is just plain inhumane!! Its greedy, selfish and inexcusable!!! I really feel for them on judgement day. I don't care if they are athiest, but they say they don't want them & their family having Christianity shoved down their throats yet they think nothing of taking a simple toy away from a poor kid cuz a religious phamplet might be thrown in with it!!!!!!!!!!!! What is it they are afraid of? Very, very interesting isn't it? Jesus is the reason for the season, it's about giving, now they are even trying to take that away. Christmas is so NOT about CHRISTmas anymore, more about drunk parties, going in debt, depression for those who don't have money, materialism, commercialism ect ect. I think every athiest who is against this shoe box program ,should themselves make up for every box that will be lost to these sad kids. Its about giving, not about your fears that they might get to heaven and you won't. Why else would you be fighting this? Sorry if I spoke harshly here but this topic made my blood boil.

I don't want o pass judgement on this old lady but......I am starting to see a theme to her postings.

Well, I just feel sorry that her religious beliefs have prevented her from enjoying a life that would allow her to see that religion is not the total touchstone. But if that narrow perspective is what she is happy with, so be it. I am just very glad that in my lifetime I have met and enjoyed the company of people from every religious stripe, every sexual orientation and most permutations and combinations thereof. I am enriched by the experience.

Face it, I guess I am FAT - Flexible, Adaptable and Tolerant.

Yep, you bet I got more years on me than you have young'un. Take it from me... You have a long way to go yet until you are a total person. It is only your narrow view that prevents this happening.
