If you believe Global Warming is false because of a miscalculation, data errors, or shortsightedness, it is not a conspiracy theory. In the eyes of dhaene, it is a conspiracy theory though...

dhaene wrote:katts, the "Firm" that you speak of is actually the United Nations. A Canadian and former Trudeau loyalist and self-descibed socialist named Maurice Strong headed up this whole global warming sham many years ago for the UN (Canada will be looked upon badly in history for this individual's scam). He actually believes that the Western democracies must be destroyed in order to make the world a fairer place for the third world countries ---- the same lies that the Soviet dictatorships told for so many years (and the current Russian regime wants to bring back into vogue).
Don't get me wrong, I am a big believer in conservation and alternate energy development, but I also believe that we can also continue to use our non-renewable resources well into the future.
The scientific data is clear : the whole manmade greenhouse gas emissions causing global warming theory is a scam made up just to transfer wealth (it will NOT do anything for climate change because mankind's influence is so small compared with the natural phenomena at play). To prove how silly this whole thing has gotten, Environment Canada last year named CO2 as a pollutant (which it clearly is not ... in fact it is a requirement for life on earth) --- Environment Canada has lost all scientific credibility by this one incompetent and unscientific act. Sadly most of our politicians still seem to be going along with the global warming scam because they believe it to be popular --- what a diservice to Canadians and the world. History will blame people like the UN's Maurice Strong (and by extension Canadians) for the purposeful promotion of the biggest scam ever inflicted on mankind.

Hang on a second. How does that constitute a conspiracy theory?.

Well Dave, i think it's meant to go something like this:

DNA tests find bars of "human" soap to be a hoax
Therefore all claims of soap ever having been made from humans must be viewed as suspect...
These claims mainly come from Jews regarding the holocaust
Therefore all other claims regarding Jews and the holocaust must be viewed as suspect...
Therefore the holocaust might be a hoax and a conspiracy to skew the likelyhood it was actually the Nazis who were the propaganda victims of the global Jewish menace.

It would be nice if you could be constructive, rather than dismissive and always trying to be rude in this forum. Thanks. Add something to the discussion, or else please do as Jo suggests. Please. Please. Please.

WHAT!!?? That is exactly what I thought averagejoe was getting at. I don't understand how stating what he is likely getting at is dismissive or rude?

He wasn't trying to be serious. While I disagree with averagejoe's theory, I can do so without being as dismissive as unclemarty was.

By the way, your take on the subject is disgusting. posting.php?mode=quote&f=52&p=451557#pr451539

Unclemarty, how did we go from bars of soap to the holocaust. When I started to type the story on the human soap being tested for DNA. I started it by typing...I know this going to be taken the wrong way. (holocaust) but I erased it and restarted. I guess I should have left it. This is about the title of this thread. Conspiracy Theories that Turned Out to be True! Not the Holocaust. Nice try!

Joe, the soap thing isn't a conspiracy theory. It's some bad sh&t that actually happened. Perhaps what we need beofre continuing is a good definition of a conspiracy theory.

Take the soap thing and twist it a bit and I can show you a conspiracy theory:

Fred: A friend told me Dove soap is made from human parts.
Dave: That's ridiculous.
Fred: No it's not. Have you notice the graphic of a dove on the box?
Dave: So what. It's Dove soap.
Fred: No, no. See they put the dove on the box, the symbol of peace, to make you think it's okay. They are trying to placate you.
Dave: That's a bunch of nonsense.
Fred: Prove me wrong.
Dave: What do you mean prove you wrong? It's soap for Pete's sake.
Fred: Yeah, made from humans.
Dave: You're crazy. The ingredients are right on the box.
Fred: That's what they want you to think it is. See this ingredient here... dimethyloxynuecleicmonogylcerides?
Dave: So?
Fred: If you take the ninth and eleventh letters (twice) you get OYY and that's the name of an ancient Druid race that used to eat humans.
Dave: Oh come on!
Fred: See. 9/11, OYY, canabalism. Oh and one other thing. The symbol of OYY was a dove.

But if I believe that anthropological global warming theory is a creation by a group of individuals with an alternative agenda besides the one that they present publicly this is a "conspiracy theory".
If I believe that the data is being knowingly fudged, misconstrued, tampered with, looking at too narrow a section of data etc.to further this agenda then this is a "conspiracy theory".
If I believe that a natural phenomenon is being presented as being man-made in an effort to create some form of a "religion" to control masses of people then this is a "conspiracy theory".

If on the other hand I accept the anthropological global warming theory, then I believe no conspiracy exists.

But as it stands at this moment, no matter what Al Gore may say, the debate is not over so should we be creating the cap & trade regulations, do we really only have 4 years left before the world ends due to man-made global warming.

President 'has four years to save Earth
Barack Obama has only four years to save the world. That is the stark assessment of Nasa scientist and leading climate expert Jim Hansen who last week warned only urgent action by the new president could halt the devastating climate change that now threatens Earth. Crucially, that action will have to be taken within Obama's first administration, he added.

Facts debunk global warming alarmism
THE National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported that October in the US was marked by 63 record snowfalls and 115 lowest-ever temperatures.
Over the past few years, similar signs of colder than usual weather have been recorded all over the world, causing many people to question the still fashionable, but now long outdated, global warming alarmism. Yet individual weather events or spells, whether warmings or coolings, tell us nothing necessarily about true climate change.

Experimental Link Found Between Sun and Climate
new research may have provided just that evidence, with data demonstrating that solar variations have had major effects on the earth's climate as recent as 2,000 years ago.

New Study Shows Climate Change Largely Irreversible
A new scientific study led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reaches a powerful conclusion about the climate change caused by future increases of carbon dioxide: to a large extent, there’s no going back.

If you take everything the UN says about AWG and all the bad things it is going to do to us as 100% truth, and then do cost-benefit analysis of stopping it, the costs of stopping global warming are higher than the benefits by a wide margin.

Those are lame conspiracy theories. I think my neighbors are smoking weed and steal gardnen gnomes. They're pretty good at covering it up, but it's no conspiracy theory.

None of the conspiracy theories ever turned out to be true. Aliens are still at large, 9/11 was still caused by *bleep* off muslims, Titanic was hit by an iceberg, there's no undeground gov't or plans to introduce amero...

On a side note, most conspiracy theories are boring as hell too.

Connect what dots? I have never touched the Holocaust issue. I have my theories and they are a lot and very different from everyone else's. If your looking for deniers, your looking in the wrong direction. The human soap theory was proven false by the University of Teliv and depends on how you look at it was either Propaganda or a conspiracy. Depending on which way you look at it. By the way, why do you have to connect dot. To what and what for?
