Well, it's pretty much a given that everyone will go through some major life changes at some point in their lives. This doesn't point to a pre ordained "Doomsday" event. Starting to sound very astrological to me.

A major world changing event would effect everyone pretty drastically, wouldn't it? Otherwise it would just be considered normal.

Mother Nature is normal so I haven't a clue what this Doomsday event is all about - astroid coming our way?

It's changing no differently then any other time in History. It's relevant to the technological stage we're in. By death rate, this is one of the most peaceful times in the history of mankind.

Didn't that already happen. 1900's to 2000's are two completely different worlds? That's called progress.

Yes, and I can also say that we'll have another and another and another. It's happened throughout history. Roman civilization changed the world. Dark ages, changed the world. Flight, changed the world. Electricity, changed the world. Industrial revolution, changed the world. WW1 and WW2, changed the world. Internet, changed the world. Unless this change is of such a fundamentally new reason (God-like, Extraterrestrial, 5th dimension etc) it is most likely just due to progress and history repeating itself in a predictable fashion.
