Please read the definitions a little more carefully.

Re: How to respond to an anti ‘Conspiracy Theorist’
Some CTs look at the term as a badge of honor. Others rail at being associated with it.
The fact is that none of us came up with the term. It has been around for 50 years and the average person knows exactly what it mean and who it refers to. Some have tried on the forums, over the years, to brand themselves as something else, but the terms never stick and are usually quite silly.

You cannot reason someone out of a position that they did not use reason to arrive at.

Passion4Truth wrote:Ok, so when you refer to CT's this and CT's that, you are referring to yourself then, after all, you believe in conspiracies and have theories about them. You don't get to decide for everyone what is reality and what is not.
I have no theories about conspiracy theory's/theorists and the definitions are posted. To put it in perspective, you are changing the meaning of a compound word when you analyze the two separately. It seems clear how not to respond...I'll stick to facts and proper definitions - not made up ones. So unless you are trying to get this thread shut down I suggest sticking with the topic of which my earlier post relating to same was totally ignored.

So is this guy now an Anti-Conspiracy Theorist?
Also found an Anti-Conspiracy Theorist theory forum - interesting.

The original "How To Respond To An Anti Conspiracy Theorist" appears to have been created by Zen Gardner at this site:

Should always research and quote the proper sources.

When this statement is no longer true, then the Theory is probably correct. Unfortunately, most of the "Theories" posted on here do not pass this simple test:
"Conspiracy theorists never notice that the small inconsistencies in the accounts which they reject are dwarfed by the enormous, gaping holes in logic, likelihood and evidence in any alternative account. "

Oh, really? Badge of honor? Did you just make that up or do you actually know someone?

If you believe that, why would you say that you believe in one of the largest conspiracies, in another thread?

Believing in intelligent life outside of our planet does not mean believing in any conspiracy so why twist goatboy's words? I don't think that's a good way to respond.

It isn't twisting words, but thanks yet again for answering questions directed to another poster. No wonder you have so many posts. lol

Anyone is welcome to participate. I believe in intelligent life outside of our planet as do many others but that belief does not revolve around any conspiracy.

Great, lets remove all posts in the UFO thread that refer to ct's then.

Believing in the possibility of Alien life or the possibility that they "may" have visited earth in the past is not the conspiracy. Believing that the Government is covering up the actual visitation of earth by aliens is the conspiracy. Two very, very different things.

OK, but if you believe in the possibility, how can one justify so easily dismissing credible witnesses of some of these "events" or dismissing some video that one is not qualified to analyze?
And if the scenario is real, it stands to reason that at least one "government" would know about it, IMO.
