At this point I would say Assad should invite Russian troops into the country to begin the collection of chemical weapons. With or without US or UN help or approval. At that point I'd say that Obummer and the rest of the war mongers are in checkmate, I don't think the US would dare kill any Russian soldiers on the ground.
