Did the Classic Cars Do Their Parade?

We understood the Classic Car Parade was supposed to happen Saturday evening. We waited for it to come down Woodsdale and turn up Bottom Wood Lake---Did we miss it??? We saw a very few of the old cars that were just driving around, but, no parade. Did the parade break up at Oceola?? Very disappointed that it didn't make it down that way.

Thank you. :) We definitely knew what the route was supposed to be, but, it didn't come down Woodsdale. We were very disappointed. :((

Didn't see anything on Oceola either, only saw a few cars driving randomly through town...was going to go down to the park today, but figured it would be a bust too.

The show at the park was awesome. A friend when down and said there were a lot of cars. Plus, on the news, it said there were about 400 cars in the show. Great for Lake Country. :)) And, according to their website, the Parade was supposed to happen last night.
"PARADE
The Saturday show will be a parade around Lake Country. Cars will start to assemble on Main Street on Saturday at 4:00pm and the parade will start at 5:00pm. After the parade the cars will come back to Swalwell Park where they will be treated to a spaghetti dinner along with some entertainment. This portion of the car show will be run by the Lake Country Chamber of Commerce." They even have the route map there. http://lccc.me/t-shirts
Guess everyone was just too tired to do it. Glad it was a successful show. Next time, if they cancel the parade, I hope they post something about it on their site. Would save a lot of frustration.

Well, it's the first year they've tried it, sorry to see it didn't happen.

It did happen.We saw it going north on OK Centre rd. around Williams rd,about 6:00ish.But there were only about 20 cars and they were seperated by regular vehicles.

Coooool. I think that was a small number for the cars that were in the show. Sounds like they needed a lead car, and maybe a police escort. Glad you got to see them. We would have loved to see them, too. Maybe next year. :)
