Does anyone have any tips on where to find high quality local eggs near Rutland? I was buying duck eggs and amazing double yolkers last year, but have been skunked so far this year!

On Rutland Road, almost across from the Flower shop (Between Fitzpatrick and Commercial) there is a sign out for EGGS.
I swear some people slipped into the gene pool that had no lifEguard.

Is that Mrs Frank's place? Where she sells her flowers in the summer and someone else leases her fields and grows and sells fresh veggies and fruit?
She might have duck eggs, too.
I used to buy eggs from her. She is an amazing woman - about 95 years old and still gardening and looking after her chooks. Wonderful to visit with, too.

Also in Rutland up on the new section of McCurdy before you get to Latta Rd there's a big sign for eggs for sale.

Oui, "free range though, not free run"...but I'm not in rutland unfortunately although I have two customers (also castanetters) you guys could get together and just share who picks up? Just a thought
A typical wingnut, sporting an attractive bright zinc plated finish.Note that the right wing is diametrically opposed to the left wing, but otherwise identical.

Noms eggs are worth the drive.
And a different visual perspective of the valley than from Rutland.

I vote for Noms eggs too. :nyah: From downtown the drive is 20 minutes and I"d rather do that than end up eating eggs from the store. We can see, taste and tell the difference immediately.
