I marvel at how they didn't even hit a stone...

Woodenhead, you have to wonder how someone survives long enough to get that good at long boarding. After showing my son, who is mad about skateboards, he showed me a youtube video he posted of him going down the hill on hwy 33 at night. Wish he hadn't done that, ignorance is bliss sometimes.
Richard Terfry has a music program on CBC each afternoon. Great Canadian talent.

lol - not enough twang for you. Buck 65 is a respected artist, just not your taste obviously. Here's another for your listening pleasure.

I don't like it either, jim, but it most certainly is music. Nothing wrong with it.
Personal taste is just that - personal. Trying to force your taste on others or using it as a base to attack others is distasteful.
pun :-)

I never try to force my taste of music on others, and i was not attacking anyone, just don't care for it.
Now i know how my father felt in my young days when i use to listen to Deep Purple, Sabbath, The Guess Who, Rolling Stones........He just could not figure it out, i am in the same boat as him now with the new music. I still love the old acid music also. Bring on the white blotter ;)

Re: Whatcha listenin' to right now?
It's Ok Jim, I didn't take it too badly. :(
That's the great thing about music, each to thier own. To me Buck 65 write's incredible poetry, to a beat. But then again, I've been a fan of rap since I learned the words to the Sugarhill Gang's Rappers Delight in the late 70's. So I'm a bit old school, the words matter to me.
I can appreciate Jim's opinion though, I don't like most country music or tunes that have been overplayed in the last 30 years. I am trying to learn how to appreciate the story telling part of country because I realize it's my loss. There are many talented country artists that I'm missing out on, or so my wife tells me.
BTW, thanks for getting the song, "Just When I Needed You Most" stuck in my head.

Three for three on that set.
Really like Cabin, The Rectangles And Changable Parts seems like it'd be a good cd but hard to find on-line.
I actually found some country I can enjoy.

I so wish Corb Lund would put out another Smalls album. For Canadian country for non-country music lovers you should check out my buddy Tim Hus.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.
