Anybody ever been to this event? Is it any good? The website tries to paint it as a kinda meta comic con experience.

It's not bad, but it's run by the artsy crowd so they're going to price it out of reach of the average person. The cost for all three days is more than the cost for the Calgary Comicon, which is ridiculous.

Not going this year for other reasons, but I'm not feeling horribly upset.

Yea I Checked it out. I found the $40 dollar price tag to get in a bit much. Especially for what you get.
Comparing it to a Comic-Con or a Fan-Expo isn't really fair.
It was interesting, but not something that would hold my attention too long.

There is another comic con in Kelowna that is an actual comic con. I'm not allowed to post the website for it though (despite the op posting a website) I'm sure you can google it though. It's more a traditional comic con
