Huge casserole of extra stuffing cooked and cooling. Cranberry sauce made and in the fridge. Turkey is in the oven. Potatoes, corn, and broccoli will be prepped and cooked by 6:30 p.m.

Chicken is defrosting, think it will be a cassarole of some kind. Depends on what I have in my fridge, but I'm thinking something maybe Tuscan.

There's only three dentists here. One is not taking new patients but will see me on an emergency basis. Another is on holidays until Dec. 19. The last is taking new patients but booking in late December right now. I have to wait for a cancellation with #1 and #3 before they can "fit me in". In an emergency, I can go to Emerg at the hospital and they will give me pain killers, antibiotics and/or yard it out. If I need antibiotics my family doctor can prescribe them. I am trying to save this loose molar and it is not an emergency yet. YET.

Supper tonight ... Spaghetti Squash, Mashed Potatoes and Beef Gravy, Fried Onions and a Hamburger Patty or two - pureed in the blender.

Necessity is the mother of invention :D

Tonight I am having chicken drumstick baked with crushed corn flakes and onion and marjoram on it, baked potato with sour cream and grated cheddar, and maybe green beans. All cooked then pureed in the blender. Just cause I have a loose tooth doesn't mean I can't eat nutritious homemade meals. :D

Also on the go - Cream of Potato and Leek Soup.

And for those of you who like to know these things ... I bought the leeks at Overwaitea (SaveOn Foods) and they had more green tops than useable white bottoms so I asked if they had any in the back that had more white on them. The guy went and looked but there was no more - so he offered to give the ones out front a haircut and then I would just have to buy the white bottoms with no green tops. When you are paying by the pound, that was appreciated. The tops are not edible (as far as I am concerned) so would just become garbage - and who wants to pay cash for something that goes straight into the garbage?
