Suds, one day on your travels go out to Lower Nicola, just outside of Merritt and ask the guy there to do you a spiced pork roast.......OMG, so good, we have one left in the freezer, and sounds like a plan for dinner one night this week.
It's called Nicola Valley Meats and you can call ahead and pre order and he cryovac's it for you.

BBQ burgers with all the add-ons. I really craved a cob of corn to go with but at close to a buck an ear each, could not bring myself to doing that. I will wait for BC corn and have a bucket of it!! Remember corn roasts early fall at Cultus Lake - with hot butter and beer!! Yummm!!

^Yumm... I love baked salmon stuffed with lemon slices, parsley & etc. So long as it is not sockeye. But the rest around here don't seem attracted to it. I also LOVE Alberta whitefish baked nice and crispy outside with chopped parsley and onion inside. All that nice Omega oil.... my Norski ganny ice fished (gill netted) trailer loads of them when I was a kid and he sold a lot to the townies for hard earned $$.
