Haha, we knew what you meant.

I'm listening to "World Music" on AccuRadio right now. It's a free internet radio site, wide variety of stations, very good for when you don't really know exactly what you want to hear. Great way to broaden one's musical horizons.

Don't you just hate those moments where there is no 'mood' music to suit? My fall-back is usually Four Seasons by Vivaldi (Nigel Kennedy's version, bar-none), as it inherently takes you through the 4 'seasons' of mood. One of the four is bound to suit! :-({|=

On iTunes I have: Bombay Beats India - Bollywood music and beyond (kinda fitting considering the Indian food from Friday night)

A sampling from today's playlist:

Ashes by Embrace
The Funeral by Band of Horses
Dancing by Elisa
Prophecy by Remy Zero
Run by Collective Soul (OREZ reminded me!)
Free Fallin' by John Mayer (great cover!)
Sway by The Perishers
Cold as it Gets by Patty Griffin
Have You Seen Me Lately by Keri Noble
Seasons by Chris Cornell
Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis

Thanks for starting this thread BA! :discodance:

As to Solsbury Hill - definitely one of Gabriel's best. Sarah McLachlan does a cover of it live that is equally outstanding. :smt034

That's a neat little mix there Warden. From your list I'm now looking for:
"Free Fallin' by John Mayer (great cover!)" That I've got to hear!
"Sarah McLachlan's Solsbury Hill cover"

I'm just about finished Limp Bizkit's 'Three Dollar Bills, Yall$'. It's not the usual kind of thing I listen to, but I give everything a try, even if it's a bit of discomfort for half an hour. :dyinglaughing: No, there were several tracks that I did enjoy.

Warden

Judging by a couple of those tracks,

Ashes by Embrace
Sway by The Perishers

you wouldn't by any chance be a Veronica Mars fan, would you? :)

I am listening to the sound of coffee brewing. :bethecoffee:
Where oh where’d my body go?
Africa or Mexico?
Where or where’d my body go?
Where’d my body go?
Have you seen my ghost?
Staring at the ground?
Have you seen my ghost?
Sick of those *bleep* clouds

LOL!!! :dyinglaughing:

Actually, NDP, I've just recently become a Veronica Mars fan in the last month or so, but my familiarity with those particular tracks goes back a bit longer.

I saw The Perishers open up for Sarah McLachlan here a few years ago (2005 I think) and have been a fan ever since. I can't remember where I picked up the Embrace song, but it's been on my iPod for a while now. It might have been a blog referral.

Nice catch!

BA - If you're searching, look up Tony Furtado's cover of Free Fallin' as well. Unbelievable guitar on that one!
