I'm stoked for the new Star Trek in May. The antagonist is played by Benedict Cumberbatch, who's been doing an excellent job with the recent Sherlocke Holmes re-imaginings.

Doesn't there have to be a second one before there's a third one? (yes, I do know there is a second one coming)

What's the second one? I only know of "Chronicles of Riddick". Are you including "Pitch Black"?

Ah okay, I don't consider "pitch black" as part of the "Chronicles" so to speak. Surprised he managed to make a career after "pitch black" though, that movie was a dog! If memory serves me correctly, he was billed as "John Vin Diesel" when it first came out.

Hate to admit it, but "Chronicles" is right up there with "Shawshank Redemption" and "Lord of War" as my guilty pleasure movies that' I've watched more times than I can count!

Edit: The also was a cartoon: Dark Fury - The Chronicles of Riddick which was supposed to take place between "pitch black" and the last "Chronicles".

Probably the same people who keep giving Adam Sandler money to make movies.

Took in "Skyfall" last night. As far as Bond films go it is among the best to date. Daniel Craig is doing a fine job of upholding a role that's been around for what, fifty years now?
