Excellent book, The Red Tent is.
We tried to watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Tried.

Not exactly a movie, but...
True Detective is an awesome show. Holy poop, it's good.

"22 Jump Street" - 2 hours I'll never get back.
So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky

"The Equalizer" with Denzel Washington. Only thing scarier than a badass is a quiet badass!

^^^ I recently watch that & agree.
I also remember the TV show staring Edward Woodward, late 80's.

Didn't you learn your lesson after the first one? Lol
Nobody wants to hear your opinion. They just want to hear their own opinion coming out of your mouth.

Only seen professional ones. So far sounding like a typical 3rd movie by Peter Jackson; heavy on action and short on story. I suspect it'll be like Return of the King where the theater release seemed to be jerky and missing something in the story but the extended release fills in gaps and makes it a lot smoother.

Just suffered through Christmas with the Kranks.
Starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen, both whom shone through a miserable script and a worse set.
The book it was based on by John Grisham is well worth reading. Skipping Christmas.
I like the sound of it already. Only I read it and it's a worth while book. Movie? Not so much.

Is anyone here shocked that The Interview will be shown after all?
After all that free publicity Sony got over their stupid premise of a story, spending $100 million on what I'm betting on is a total Razzie Winner, independent theaters are going to show it. I'm thinking the theaters will be packed with disappointed audiences who wished Korea got their Christmas wish.
