This was one of the fresh releases on Netflix, and it was surprisingly good. Low budget, some strange acting, but the script was very solid. If you like a good puzzle of a movie with a twist at the end - time well spent.

The Hobbit Trailers are taking over. I'm trying to avert my eyes so I don't feel like I've seen the whole thing before I get there. Like they need to do that anyways.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

I've come across this:
Looks rather cool - despite that it's Tom "The Loony Bin" Cruise as the lead.

That looks interesting but I can't stand him.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?

WOW, saw The Hobbit last night.
WOW!!!
Saw it at the Xtreme West Kelowna Theatre
in the new HFR (high frame rate) 3D format.
Much clearer brighter and smoother.
It looked so realistic.
I wanna see it again.

I've seen the trailer for the Hobbit in 48 FPS, and I'm torn about. Sure it's crisp and clear, but now the movie looks more like a soap TV show - it looks awesome on nature shots and panoramic views, but when you see close up shots it looks more like The Bold and The Beautiful, Hobbit Edition.

I spotted that the other day too, and while Tom Cruise may be able to make me rethink my stand against torture, if he's any kind of an actor he might be able to make me forget who he really is for a couple of hours. Didn't really mind him in Minority Report. It's just that he plays the spoiled selfish brat type so convincingly. And there was that Oprah thing. Oh well, it's not like I have to have him over for turkey or anything.

Having Cruise over for turkey is redunant isn't it?

More like Cannibalism.
This may have been mentioned before, but I saw "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" the other night and I really liked it. Unique and original filming style.
So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky

I'm gonna have to book a trip to Vancouver in the spring for some big screen sci-fi action. Wow!
