"ParaNorman" wasn't bad. Done by the same people who did Coraline.
So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky

Coraline as a book is even better. Neil Gaiman is a brilliant author.

BBC did a mini series on his "Neverwhere", it is worth watching - if you haven't seen it you should see if you can find it

I don't know why I had it stuck in my mind that "Seven Psychopaths was a comedy. I suppose there were a couple of smiles in it, in a Quentin Tarantino sort of way. Not that it's a bad movie, it was my expectations that were out of line.

Netflix came up with a very cool addition lately.
We just finished watching Ride the Divide. It's a bike race down the Continental Divide
www.ridethedividemovie.com
Awesome sportsmanship, photography, landscapes and most of all, human personal effort and sacrifice to make it from Banff, Canada to Mexico. Less than 40 people have actually completed the entire route. And only 100 people have tried it and only 1 woman has made it all the way to the end.
Terrific and two thumbs up.

Speaking of Quentin Tarantino - "Django" anyone ? Thoughts ?
( Taritino certainly has this thing with blood splashing around, doesn't he ? )

Django certainly pushed the envelope as far as concepts like sacred ground and taboo subjects go. Maybe he gives us a peek at parts of ourselves we rather wouldn't look at.
I googled a "Best TV" list last night, and "Enlightened" came in at the top. I never heard of this one before, anyone here been close to it?

The Tarantino Hollywood crowd are so past racism that they can use it as satire.I would have loved to been on that set for all the laughs while sam jackson played stephen.

Serenity is good, if you're enjoying Firefly there's no reason not to enjoy Serenity. It fills in some of the blanks that the series never got the opportunity to deal with Essentially it's a big budget episode of Firefly.

I watched The Call.
It was a total waste of time, but it only cost $3.00 and I didn't feel like driving in the rain.

Rented the "Baytown Outlaws" last night. Kinda interesting after watching a Tarintino movie the night before.
