This year's Oscar nominees for best picture:

Arrival
Fences
Hacksaw Ridge
Hell or High Water
Hidden Figures
La La Land
Lion
Manchester By the Sea
Moonlight

"Arrival" is the only one I've seen so far and it was pretty good. Don't really know much about the others except that the trailer for "Hidden Figures" piqued my curiosity. Anyone?

Took the time to watch '41'
Another show a person likely would have never even heard of.

Thanks.

A friend saw Hacksaw Ridge and rated it highly - I haven't seen any of them.

Took in "Split" for cheap-night last night. Creepy. Riveting.

Hell or High Water is awesome. Jeff Bridges is great to watch... yet another fantastic performance.

Took in John Wick-Chapter 2 the other night. Ends with a potential to a third. We really enjoyed it.

I saw Lion last night. It was the best movie I've seen in a very long while. Simply superb!

We watched "A Monster Calls". Make sure you have tissues at hand. Lots of them.

Good cast, excellent show.
