Believe me, Olivia, I will NEVER frequent ANY place where you are employed.

She did make a good point, just before her little threat there, that if you are a regular patron and regularly getting "top notch" service, then perhaps a gratuity is in order. If the server is expecting a tip without the aforementioned top notch service then perhaps she would do me the courtesy of allowing me to spit in her food. Fair is fair.

PS: It's good news that we have another twenty something ditz with entitlement issues, a couple that we had have grown up and that left us short.

There's a lot of servers who have no concept what "top notch service" is. They think if they look sideways at you that they have somehow done you a big favour.

I'll tip - and well - for true top notch service but this girl's attitude makes my blood boil - and the threats at the end of the video should get her canned from whatever job - food industry or not - that she is lucky enough to get. If she was my employee and I saw this video, she would be out the door in a hurry.

She needs a HUGE attitude adjustment.

These videos...file them right next to those "political" cartoons that I've seen posted lately.

I can tell she's trying to be funny, perhaps ironic and I assume she thinks what she is saying sounds intelligent. But all that's coming through is some girl who has watched too many "jennamarbles" youtube clips and is trying to cash in on the "ditzy blonde rant" genre of video. For it all to work, you need some kind of intelligent thoughts thrown in amongst all the stupidity so people will see that it is in fact an act and not someone who is actually just stupid and ranting.

I have a tip for you jenna Olivia, please go back to serving tables.

Please, DON'T go back to serving tables, Olivia. Nobody needs a waitress with your attitude.

Agreed. I feel dumber having watched that. I hope she's a volunteer and Castanet doesn't pay her for that "contribution."

That's exactly what I was thinking.
Such a childish, entitled attitude. What an embarrassment to anyone who works in, or has ever worked in the service industry. She should be ashamed of making such an obnoxious clip..and so should castanet for attaching their name to such garbage.

So this sweet thing says, "I have worked in the service industry since I was 13 - eight years now".

If anyone recognizes her and knows where she works, please PM me - I want to make sure I don't go anywhere near her place of employment - and I will send her boss a note to tell them why I will not spend my money in their establishment.

Rules forbid saying anything in the thread - but you can PM me the info. Thanks.

Castanet is proud to introduce a new feature to our site: The O-Factor.

As we make the move toward introducing more video content, look for the O-Factor to become a prominent piece of our entertainment pie.

The show will be the home of for viral videos, humorous slice of life happenings, and some off-the-wall social commentary.

The O-Factor is hosted by Kelowna's Olivia Gordey, who is currently living in Edmonton before she returns to Kelowna in the spring.

Take a look at the video she sent us that put a big smile on all our faces, followed by a sneak peek of what you can expect in future episodes.

Message to Castanet ... I wouldn't be too proud of this. In fact, I'd axe her before she arrived back in Kelowna. Her videos do nothing to make you look intelligent or funny, or even worth clicking on. Some things are funny - this chickie-poo ain't.

Seconded Gramma.

Promoting the fact that you and your ilk spit in food? How professional.

I have never seen O Factor today and must agree with the comment pested by JPaul ealrier, "they are the stupidest videos I have ever seen. This 12 year old thinks she has a relevant point of view but each point she tries to demsonstrate is either offensive, obsolete, or irrelevant.". Her most recent video presentation tipping at restaurants is incredibly offensive to me. To have someone who has worked in the service industry as she has proclaimed to stating that people who don't tip SHOULD expect to have a surprize in their meal is unacceptaple. If some one is so insistant on and willing to sabbotage someone's meal because they did not get tipped they SHOULD work somewhere in some other industry.

I wonder if this will hurt her chances for employment in the future.
I certainly wouldn't hire her.
I just can't see how showing a video like this to the public would be in her best interest.
