Such sad news. Bill was a friend for many, many years. We spent many hours swapping stories and chewing the fat. He was what I would consider one of the last honest, caring politicians.

Bill's knowledge and passion were a tremendous asset to our community. I remember being amazed to find his grad class photo in the hallway at KSS. He was part of the class of '52.

Happy Trails, Bill.

I used to watch his Gold Trails and Ghost Towns show when I lived in Kamloops (about 10 years back). What a great loss. RIP.

Dear Bill.

I have watched all of your shows and have become inspired by them. I have taken many back road trips to locations and sites that you have mentioned in your shows. I bought your book. I will miss you and I hope that one day we will meet again. May you rest in peace. Thanks Bill.

Few brought as much life to mining stories than Bill Barlee, one of my all time favorite TV personalities and such a great show, up there with The Beach Combers, thank you Bill Barlee !
