Local boy on Canada's Worst Driver

So, we have a local boy on this season of Canada's Worst Driver.

I hear it starts airing on October 29th. I don't have cable or satellite, but I have to admit I'm curious as to how this will turn out . . . is a Kelowna driver the worst in Canada?

Interesting, but if you want to see bad drivers just go watch them on the roads and Highway. There are lots who would qualify.

Its just amazing all the cars of drivers displaying"Ns"that have little or no regard for laws on our roads makes one wonder how they picked up their bad habits so early in their driving history or how they managed to pass the written and road test ?

He admits to consistently speeding, talking/texting/emailing while driving, playing with his MP3 player, doing 260kph in his Porsche, a dozen tickets and 7 accidents in 2 years, and thinks that speed limits are "suggestive"

This isn't anything to be proud of. It's also nothing to do with skill and everything to do with attitude. Not sure the show can "fix stupid".

His mom says that she lost a friend in an MC accident this year - hit by an SUV. The first MC fatality of the year, here? ...and she lets her kid drive like that. Shake your head.

What I got out of the audition (thx for the link) was that he was convinced he was fine, the mom seemed desperate to get him turned around.

Yes this will be the second from the Okanagan, we had a young lady from West Kelowna a couple years ago
