I guess you are one of the 2 out of 10 that don't like it.
According to the story Tim's sells 8 out of 10 cups of coffee in Canada.

Screw double double garbage. Coffee that I make in my kitchen kicks any other coffee butt.

Agreed. I buy dark roast, whole beans at Costco and make my own. I have never had a coffee that tastes better.

OP at one time I would drink a lot of coffee, not so much anymore.
In those years of heavy coffee consumption I tried every coffee place around, and found the very best was very simple(and a lot cheaper).
Just a good old coffee percolator(nothing fancy) and Kicking Horse coffee(which ever one), oh yes to keep coffee hot but not get that burnt taste pour into coffee pot thermos.

And it's cheaper too.

I'll try it one day. I generally don't buy coffee out unless it is Starbucks because I keep getting gift cards at holidays from co-workers.
I haven't failed until I quit.

If you have the time in the morning get a French press coffee maker. Make sure to use course ground beans.

Re: A Dark Double Double?
I haven't been to a Timmie's in months but I was in a rush this morning and needed a coffee in a hurry so stopped in to the nearest one. I had (mistakenly) thought it would be quicker to go inside than sit in the drive through lane and when it was my turn to order I asked for a large, doubt double. As she was ringing it in I saw the sign advertising their new, dark roast. "I'll try the dark roast." I said. Well guess what? They didn't have any brewed. As I already mentioned, I was in a rush so I opted for their regular roast and was on my way. I normally prefer a dark roast so I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to try their new brew. Maybe next time...
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

The "coffee" at Tim hortons is terrible. Everyone that orders a double double is ordering a double dose of full fat mystery creame and liquid fattening sugar substitute.

Aww, the cream's not real? It's the only takeout coffee I get and the only time I put cream in it. I drink it "straight" or with Bailey's at home. *day ruined

I find that you get a much better result going to a high quality, non-franchise coffee shop than a big name.

I'm the other one of those 2 ;)
Don't know if it's true or not but I've heard that Tim Hortons has 3 tiers of coffee and it's up to the franchise owner to decide which one to serve at their location. Supposedly (from what I've heard) the owner of the full serve locations in a certain town in the OK serves the lower quality one while the Esso station ones serve the higher quality ones.
Nobody wants to hear your opinion. They just want to hear their own opinion coming out of your mouth.
