Montana road trip

Post by V-Rated »

My boyfriend and I are planning on going to Montana soon for a little holiday. I've been reading trip advisor but as always get the best reviews from my nutters.
Basically around the western side. Hotels, restaurants, must see places?

I've been there, unfortunately I was 6 and don't remember anything about the trip except going to Yellowstone (which is mostly in Wyoming.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Anywhere in the Whitefish area is great. Lots to do, lots to see. Not sure about this time of year though... as you are too early for skiing and too late for water sports

White fish, west Glacier is very cool.
I would be sure to drive down through standpoint Idaho, south/east through Wallace Idaho. Wallace is a must stop along your journey. They have a few very neat hotels based inside the original old mining town hotels. Be sure to have a beer at the city limits brewery there as well. Missoula Montana is a neat town.
