Have the BC episodes aired or will they be shelved now?

I believe it hasn't been aired, though it was filmed. Not sure if they'll release it now or not.

I guess they couldn't show it anymore because it promoted cars, which thus promoted global warming. Can't have that on the communist BBC! :)

Well, possibly not? http://www.therebel.media/over_500_000_sign_petition_for_bbc_to_reinstate_top_gear_host_jeremy_clarkson

I still want to watch the one where they're in Canada (we're a bit behind) and the last episode I saw had Jeremy working toward a showdown of the supercar hybrids (my heart is with the Ferrari).

I too am a big fan of this show, and I think Clarkson should be reinstated.

The BC episode was the last episode of this season to air before all of this nonsense.

BBC releases update on Clarkson and Top Gear
The BBC has today released the following statement:

“Following last week’s suspension of Jeremy Clarkson, Ken MacQuarrie is now considering the evidence and will report to the Director-General on his findings next week.

Once this has been considered, we will set out any further steps.

The BBC will not be offering further commentary until then.”

It has been confirmed that the TGTV episode scheduled for broadcast on Sunday 22 March will not be shown, but no official statement has been made regarding any future episodes.

TopGear.com will bring you more news as soon as we have it.

They call that an update?

Episodes? More than the one?

BTW - has anyone figured the position of Wolf Mountain? I'm curious. I found a Gray Wolf Mountain, but not sure if that is it. . .

I think it was actually just one. I just assumed because of how much filming they did here that it may be more.

Well, that is disappointing. I don't disagree in that Clarkson needed to be reined in (you can't treat people that way). But I doubt the show will be the same, and I can see a huge possibility of it going down the tubes. His own hubris caused this.

Sometimes when you run the most popular show in UK, your head tends to get too big.

I do agree with that.

It sounds as though the other two are saying they're a package deal though, which makes the likelihood of them starting up with another broadcaster more feasible.
