His article speaks volumes. In short, people who spend time in nature are less greedy and more thoughtful.

Reinforces the old saying, "couples that walk together - stay together."

Much like the family pooch, we all feel better after a good walk. :)

I do not think it is possible to be upset in the woods. Squirrels are instant smile-makers, and the sun could melt any foul mood.

So why does viewing nature — as opposed to something constructed by humans — seem to have this effect? The authors say they don’t know the exact mechanism, though they speculate that it has something to do with “shifting people’s preferences from immediate gratification to larger but more distant payoffs.”


That seems very logical to me.
