Geek Haven

Post by Lady tehMa »

Took the family to Muninn's Post this weekend; what a great place!
We were there for the Okanagan D&D group meet n' greet.

It has a restaurant license so kids are allowed.

Food was good, quite decently priced http://muninnspost.com/

Big tables with benches or smaller tables with chairs. Stacks of board games. Chatting about hobbies with new friends, watching the kids (teens through pre-teen) having a blast with a game of "sorry", or playing werewolf with a group of ranging from over 50 to under 10.

I really do like the window seat with all the pillows. They have Shaw open WiFi too.

This is not a sports bar. This is a nerd/geek place. And it is about bloody time we had one!
I haven't failed until I quit.

Sounds like an interesting place.
