just drive around until you find a fruit stand lol, lots of them.
I believe there is a upick place just off Rutland road somewhat close to where it meets up with Old Vernon road or Cornish road. I used to stop all the time when I worked at the airport but that was a few years ago.

There are a number of places in Kelowna...yes you will probably have to drive because I can't remember the names or numbers. There is a place on the left on Rutland Road...just before Old Vernon Road...they used to have strawberries. There used to be a place on Wallace Road in Rutland too. Also at the end of Gallagher Road in Black Mountain there used to be a strawberry and raspberry place. There also was a place on Benvoulin Road for strawberries near the driving range just past Art Knapps. You could also try stopping into some of the fruit and veggie stands along Benvoulin and KLO...they might let you pick or know where you can. You could also peruse the Classified on Castanet...or place one for yourself!

It's farm gate time. And corn hut time. And cooking slow.
Lots of places out there, but who's got the best tomatoes for canning right now?
Anyone know?

I'm itching for a day trip, I know local is better and less fuel, but you've presented a good case.

If you are headed to Keremeos Queen, take the time to head over the red covered bridge and up the Ashnola river/valley for an afternoon on the river. If you haven't been you will not be dissapointed. Just don't tell anyone how nice it is.

Yes! And crossing the bridge and driving back into Keremeos on the backroad is fun too.
We never made it on that trip today, alas, shopping and other stuff awaited.
